Lafite Rothschild Cognac
To create the “Reserve Lafite Rothschild” cognac, DBR Lafite proceeded like the old artisans, buying here and there exceptional barrels, helped by the courtiers who know about these stocks and when they may become available. The Lafite Rothschild Cognac is concentrated on one of the smallest areas of the Cognac appellations, the “Borderies”, a very exceptional area where the spirits have a special softness and a great “nose”. Over several years, they bought barrels from different producers, of different ages and then it took some years to get the perfect balance and slowly to marry the various “coupes” into this special blend.
In this way, Chateau Lafite Rothschild had a cognac which could live up to its reputation. The limited edition of magnums is an antique cognac style bottle – with its traditional sealed cork – in a wooden “coffret”.?

Current proprietor Benito Nonino and his wife Giannola, together with their three daughters continue to lead Italian distillers through their devotion to research, quality and innovation.
Today, Nonino’s extensive product line revolves around their award winning grappas and revolutionary UEs.
“Nonino Grappa Cru Monovitigno Picolit is viewed as the groundbreaking achievement that ushered in a new era of advancements for the entire Italian grappa industry. Nonino now offers an impressive and varied menu of single- -grape grappas. ”??– F. Paul Pacult in Wine Enthusiast
